OFFICERS,
Hope you are all having a great time.
Our current membership count necessitates some changes in our current Chain of Command (CoC) structure. We aim for a more compact, effective and manoeuvreable scheme.We are down to 18 active members and it would be absurd to stick to a structure that has more offices than real people.
The following changes are effective immediately;
1. JAG Department:
The positions of Deputies of the Judge Advocate General (DJAG) are abolished.
2. News Department and Military Intelligence Department and their relevant positions are abolished, except for the position of News Reporter (see number 4)
3. War Department:
Positions of Deputy Director of War Department (DDWD) and Liaison Officer (LO) are abolished. The War Department shall now only have a Director (DWD); a Military Intelligence Officer may further be appointed on an ad-hoc basis during or around online war periods.
4. Web Department: Position of News Reporter– responsible for updates of our news pages – now falls under the Director of Web Services.
5. Task Force:
Task Force Command structure reverts to the scheme of a Commander Task Force (CTF) and an Executive Officer (XO). Positions of Commander Air Group (CAG), Commander Seal Team (CST), Commander Sea Squadron (CSS) and Commander Helicopter Group (CHG) are abolished, but not forgotten. If membership allows and our needs call for it, they shall be reinstated in the future.
All officers holding any positions abolished by this letter are relieved of their duties, effective immediately:
1. FADM Stern is relieved as Director of News Department
2. CDR Pavd is relieved as Commander Sea Squadron, Task Force 73
3. CDR Thunder is relieved as Commander Seal Team, Task Force 73
4. LT Pyronight is relieved as Commander Air Group, Task Force 73
The above officers shall be given priority to occupy any other vacant position. At this point I wish to extend my heartfelt thanks to those officers for their service to date and wish to stress before the whole fleet that they have done an excellent job in their positions. It is a pity that due to circumstances largely beyond our control, we have come to a point that has made today’s decisions necessary.
An updated Chain of Command chart will be uploaded in the next few days, and FADM Stern is working on bringing the rest of the pages up-to-date with our new CoC structure.
